What this site is

Crema & Grind is an editorial publication about home coffee equipment. It is not a retailer. We do not sell anything, hold stock, take payment or fulfill orders, and we have no access to any order you place elsewhere.

Everything here is general information and opinion. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the manufacturer's own documentation for any product you own.

Accuracy, and its limits

We take accuracy seriously. Every specification quoted here is sourced from a manufacturer or major retailer and cited on the page that uses it, and where a figure could not be sourced we leave it out. Our full approach is set out in our methodology.

But specifications change, manufacturers revise products, listings are updated and mistakes happen. We do not warrant that everything on this site is current, complete or error-free, and you should verify anything that matters to your purchase against the manufacturer's own documentation before buying.

We do not test the equipment we write about and we say so throughout. Recommendations are opinions based on published specifications and reasoning, not on measurement.

We do not publish prices on this site, precisely because they change. Any price you see is on the retailer's own page and is set by them. Tier language used here - entry, mid, prosumer and so on - describes relative position within a category as defined in our methodology, not a price bracket.
